Long before I knew what to call it, I noticed the details.
The way light moved through a room. An interesting piece of art. The chair that didn’t quite match everything else but somehow made the whole space better. The difference between a room that looked beautiful and one that made you want to stay awhile.
That awareness has followed me throughout my life and ultimately led me to create Canfield Home Collective—a place where my love of homes, design, and real estate could finally come together.
I believe a home should be more than beautiful. It should support the way you want to live.
Sometimes that means finding the right house in the first place. Sometimes it means seeing the potential in the one you already have. And often, it’s about thoughtfully curating what comes next—mixing old with new, bringing in pieces with character, rethinking how a room functions, and creating spaces that feel collected over time rather than decorated all at once.
My approach to design is personal and approachable. I’m not interested in creating a room that looks like everyone else’s or following a trend simply because it’s having a moment. I want to understand what you love, how you live, and how you want your home to feel—and then help you bring those pieces together in a way that feels distinctly yours.
Through my work in real estate, I’ve also learned to see homes a little differently. I notice the possibilities: what could change, what should stay, and what might completely transform the way a home lives.
For me, real estate and design have never felt like two separate worlds. They’re simply different parts of the same story.
Finding a house. Seeing its potential. Making it home.
